Amandeldrift solar cottage

Amandeldrift solar cottage is an off-grid cottage where you can experience the open spaces, ridges, kloofs and rocky koppies of the Roggeveld Karoo without the intrusion of television, internet or cellphone reception.

 This self-catering cottage consists of three bedrooms (one with double bed, one with two single beds and one with two three-quarter beds) sleeping six. Beautiful linen and down duvets keep you snug on cold Karoo nights. Imagine sleeping in complete darkness and quiet. The cottage also includes a separate bathroom and toilet, living room with a fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen including gas stove and fridge/freezer. The bookshelves are loaded with good reading and board games.

 There is also an outside fireplace where you can spend time with your loved ones around a bonfire under the beautiful starry skies or have a braai. A smaller fenced play area for the kids within a larger camp where they can explore safely, further enhances relaxation.
