The main house, situated within the farmyard, provides for the larger extended family where they can spend time together playing board games (provided), going for walks, watching sport or a movie or sitting out to wonder at the starry night sky. Finally, you retire to your comfortable bed with its quality linen and down duvet for a good night’s sleep in darkness and silence only broken by the sounds of farm animals. On cooler nights, snuggle up with a lovely long hot water bottle and warm bedding instead of an electric blanket, and enjoy the gas stove and cosy indoor fireplace to keep you warm.

This self-catering house comprises three bedrooms sleeping nine (bedroom 1 with a double bed and two single beds, bedroom 2 has a double bed and a baby cot, and bedroom 3 has a double bed and a single bed), two bathrooms, a living room with an indoor braai area and separate fireplace, and a fully equipped kitchen including a gas stove, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and toaster. There is also an outside fireplace where you can braai or just spend time around a bonfire under the beautiful dark sky, and a fenced area where the kids can play safely.

Please note: the property runs on solar power, so guests are kindly asked to use electricity wisely. You’ll still have full use of wifi, DStv, fridge/freezer and microwave.
