Drive to the top of the Ouberg Pass to gaze over the vastness of the Tankwa Karoo and see the sunset transform the Roggeveld and Cedarberg Mountains into sharp silhouettes. And, when you need to do something more energetic, a number of hiking and mountain bike routes are available.

Over 25,000 years ago, the KhoiSan, also known as the Bushmen, who inhabited this region, understood that time was written in the stars.
